In some situations, you may need to repeat a course. There are two policies when determining how the new grade is factored into your overall GPA.
If you are repeating a course with a failing grade of F, the F remains factored into the grade point average (GPA), as does the new grade.
If you repeat a course that you passed, the second grade will be shown on the transcript, but only the first grade will be factored into the GPA.
