If you are interested in taking a course at the PhD/ThM level as an elective during your MAR or MDiv degree coursework, there are three things you should know:

  1. These courses have limited enrollment to maintain seminar-level size, and since these courses are part of ThM and PhD course requirements, priority for registration will go to ThM and PhD students.

  2. If you choose to take the course at the PhD/ThM level, you'll be assessed the MDiv/MAR tuition rate and earn 3 hours of elective credit. These courses can transfer directly into Westminster's advanced degrees. Contact student success for requirements and restrictions for transfer credit.

  3. In some cases, you may also choose to take the advanced level courses at the Master's level and earn three hours of elective credit. The tuition rate for this option would be the normal tuition assessed for an MDiv or MAR course.
