Practices of Leadership in the Local Church

Course Description

This course will provide the biblical framework for integrating organizational and church leadership. Through lectures with various experts in their respective fields, you will learn the main ideas of leadership, and through weekly meetings, you will apply those main ideas to case studies in the local church. This course will build off prior knowledge gained in PT 111 Introduction to Pastoral Theology and Ministry and PT 311 Foundations of Leadership in the Local Church, though they are not requirements.

Synchronous Meeting Times

This course offers optional synchronous class meeting(s) through Zoom which will be scheduled during the term based on everyone's availability (a poll will be taken by the instructor for these meetings and they will be recorded for students who are unable to attend live). These meetings will be helpful for the formation your understanding of apologetics as well as provide an opportunity to practice the method live with your instructor.
