In addition to the standard admission requirements at Westminster, candidates for the ThM must submit the following:

  1. Transcripts: Full official transcripts of your theological program, including an attestation of the attainment of your graduate theological degree providing equivalent educational and theological background. The educational equivalent must include at least the standard requirements for Westminster’s MAR degree in the same field (biblical studies or theological studies) that is to be pursued by your concentration in the ThM program (Old Testament/New Testament or church history/systematic theology/apologetics).

  2. Knowledge of the Original Languages: You must show evidence of knowledge of the original languages of Scripture, at least equivalent to the original language requirements for Westminster’s MAR degree.

  3. Greek & Hebrew: Course descriptions for the Greek and Hebrew language courses completed during your graduate theological degree.

  4. Academic References: One academic reference from a non-familial former teacher in your area for the ThM concentration (Old Testament, New Testament, church history, systematic theology, or apologetics), under whose guidance you have pursued studies. An employer may complete the academic reference form if you have been out of school for more than 4 years.
