To request an exception to a specific policy or regulation, you need to submit a petition to the registrar's office. In the petition, please specify which policy you are seeking an exception to and include any extenuating (unusual or unexpected) circumstances that you think could warrant the exception.

The registrar's office contacts the appropriate field committee or department head for review and notifies you when a decision has been made.

An exception to seminary policy is considered only in cases of extenuating circumstances.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
