Mastering Theological English (MTE) is focused on training students to understand and use theological English, that is, English as represented in theology, specifically Reformed theology. Both MTE I and II offer focused instruction and practice in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and vocabulary. Students read passages from noteworthy Reformed theologians, listen to theological lectures, discuss theological topics, and write about theology. In addition, all of the skills that students learn in MTE I and II are directly relevant to Westminster’s degree programs. So, there is nothing taught in MTE that students will not use.  Click below to see a sample of part of the curricula for each level of MTE.
