Participating Programs

We support and appreciate our veterans and service members and want to partner with you in ministry training!

To use your military benefit at Westminster, you will want to start by speaking with your Educational Services Officer (ESO) or counselor within their Military Service prior to enrolling the student in the institution.

Westminster participates in the GI Bill® Benefits and GoArmyEd Tuition Assistance, in addition to other active duty personnel and AmeriCorps programs. Students who are veterans should refer to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website for eligibility requirements.

To receive benefit payments, eligible veterans should contact the financial aid office and submit their letter of eligibility. Active Duty and Army Reservists seeking tuition assistance should check the GoArmyEd website for more application information.

Request a Copy of your Certificate

In order to certify your enrollment for the use of your GI Bill® benefits, we'll need a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility. Learn how to request a copy here

If you have any questions about options for using your veteran's assistance benefits, feel free to reach out to support@wts.edu

GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill."

Once you submit your TA Assistance request to your branch of the military or submit your certificate of Eligibility to our SCO, you can register for your class(es). Once you are registered, our SCO will certify your enrollment.

For VA benefits, we do a 2 step certification at Westminster. The first step is to certify your enrollment without tuition. This happens before the start of the term and gets the ball rolling on the VA side of things. After the add/drop period in a term, our SCO will certify your enrollment again with the tuition amount. Your benefit will show as pending when the first certification is completed and will be reflected on your invoice. When the VA disburses funds for your term (about 2 weeks after the second cert) we will post the benefit to your account.
