There may be a semester during your studies where two required courses have overlapping class schedules. In Populi, if a course is conflicting with one you are already registered for, the schedule will be red and there will be a lock next to the course.
If this is the case, you will need to submit a Course Conflict Approval form to the registrar's office. The form requires that you receive approval from both professors and determine a method for making up the missed class period.
Approvals will not be granted if you are going to miss more than 50% of a course. Language courses do not permit course conflict approvals. The course conflict must be for required courses.
