Mastering Theological English is a Conditional Admittance Program (CAP). This means that MTE students are conditionally admitted to Westminster but must pass MTE in order to be fully accepted as Westminster students. In order to matriculate into their desired Westminster degree program, MTE students must pass a Qualifying Exam at the end of MTE. This exam confirms that each student’s language ability is at the appropriate level for advanced studies in theology. Students who do not pass the Qualifying Exam will be given council as to how they can continue improving their English and achieve the level necessary for seminary studies.

Going through the MTE program is a rigorous experience, requiring great effort and perseverance. We are proud of all of our students. Therefore, at the end of MTE I and II, all students receive a certificate of completion.
