If you are receiving both a scholarship and a federal loan, you are required to adhere to both requirements and SAP will be assessed separately for each aid option.
SAP will be assessed at the conclusion of each semester or term with the exception of the DMin program*. SAP is not established until after you have attempted 24 credit hours or the completion of two semesters (whichever comes first). If you are not meeting SAP standards, the financial aid office will follow the process listed below:
You will be placed on financial aid probation for the upcoming semester. During this probationary period, you are able to keep their financial aid package in order to reestablish SAP compliance. If, at the end of the semester, you meet the SAP standards required of them, you will be removed from probation.
If you fail to meet the SAP standards required, you will be placed on financial aid suspension and will no longer receive your financial aid package.
In future semesters, if you return to meeting SAP standards, you are able to reapply for financial aid and may be granted aid for future semesters.
*DMin students will have SAP assessed after the completion of two courses in which they must maintain a 3.0 GPA and a 75% completion rate.
