Your 1098-T form is a tax document furnished by Westminster for you and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to help determine your tuition deduction on your 1040 form when submitting your taxes. The deduction is based on the amount of qualified tuition and fees you paid in a given calendar year and which were not covered by financial aid.

The form will be posted to your Populi account by January 31st each year. To access the form, go to your Profile > Financial tab. The form will be located on the bottom right hand corner of the page. Click on the tax year you need to bring up the correct form.

1098-T forms are not prepared in the following cases:

  • When the scholarships/grants (box 5) is greater than amount of customer payments (box 1)

  • When there is no SSN on record for the student

  • Nonresident alien students, unless specifically requested

If you have any questions, or if you do not see your form listed, please contact us at support@wts.edu.
