ANNOUNCEMENT: Google Cloud Print is no longer supported by Google, and will no longer work when printing to on campus printers. Please follow the instructions below in order to directly connect to the printers.

Three printers are located on campus for student printing needs:

  1. Andreas Academic Center - Main floor, by the mailboxes.

  2. Andreas Academic Center - Basement, next to the public computer terminals.

  3. Van Til Hall - Student snack bar.

In order to access the printers you must be connected to the WTS Student WiFi network. Once connected, you can find each of these printers listed in your Add Printer dialog.

For Apple users:

  1. Go to System Preferences.

  2. Choose Printers & Scanners.

  3. Click the '+' to add a printer.

For Windows users:

  1. Go to your Start Menu.

  2. Click Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.

  3. Choose Add a Printer.

ALTERNATIVE METHOD: Adding Printers by IP Address

You can also add the printers to your computer by their IP address. Addresses for each printer are as follows:

Andreas Basement: 10.100.8.43

Van Til Snack Bar: 10.100.8.44

Andreas Main Floor: 10.100.8.45

IMPORTANT NOTE: You may need to install printer drivers to your computer. You can find the drivers for the student printers HERE. Choose your operating system and click the "Recommended" driver download.

For Apple users:

1. Go to System Preferences.

2. Choose Printers & Scanners.

3. Click the '+' to add a printer.

4. Choose the 'IP' tab at the top of the window.

5. In the Address box, enter the IP Address of the printer you want to add.

6. In the Protocol box, choose Airprint.

7. If Airprint does not work for you, you may need to use the Line Printe Daemon protocol instead. You will need to download and install the printer drivers if you choose this option.

7. In the Name box, edit the name to reflect the printer that you are adding.

8. If using the Line Printer Daemon protocol, make sure to choose the correct driver.

9. Click Add.

For Windows users:

1. Go to your Start Menu.

2. Click Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.

3. Choose Add a Printer.

4. Click the option labeled "The printer that I want isn't listed".

5. Choose the option labeled "Add a printer using a TCP/IP Address or hostname".

6. In the IP Address box, enter the IP Address of the printer you want to add.

7. When prompted, locate the driver for the printer.

8. When prompted, edit the name to reflect the printer that you are adding.

9. Follow the rest of the prompts to finish adding the printer.
