There are some times when Westminster will accept credit from an unaccredited institution. If you have completed courses at an unaccredited institution, please review the instructions below on submitting a request for transfer credit.

In addition to completing a transfer of credit request form, you will also need to provide the information below to the registrar's office.

  1. Course Syllabus: A copy of the course syllabus stating the instructor’s name and the course requirements for each course for which transfer credit is requested.

  2. Coursework Sample: At least one sample of coursework submitted in fulfillment of course requirements for each course for which transfer credit is requested.

  3. Official Transcript

All decisions are made on a course-by-course basis. Only courses in which a grade of B or above was received will be considered for transfer credit.

No more than 15 semester credit hours from an unaccredited institution will be accepted for transfer credit toward a student's degree program at Westminster.

If you are seeking to transfer credit from CCEF, please review the current policy here. If you have taken courses at The Resurgence Training Center (Re:Train) please review the Transfer Credit section in our Catalog for additional information.
